Lounge Host / Server

Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional host/hostess service. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality and attentiveness. Assist guests with menu selections, answer questions about offerings, and provide personalized recommendations. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge area, including tables, bar counters, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate timely service delivery. Uphold all safety standards and hotel policies related to guest services and food handling. Support team members in creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests. Experience with POS systems Knowledge of food service procedures, guest relations, and hospitality best practices. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required. Demonstrated teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality duties.
