Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation meets quality standards Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting sanitation protocols Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Uphold food safety standards through proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment Support other restaurant operations such as hosting/hostessing duties when needed Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills to engage guests and coordinate with team members Nightclub or serving experience is desirable but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth.
