Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Runner/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner/Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in orders. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods and helping to clear tables as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and meet food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including assisting with restocking supplies as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and assisting with any special requests. Familiarize yourself with the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Utilize EZ Suites POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. A commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive dining experience. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential; food service certification is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to help team members as needed and adapt to changing priorities throughout shifts. A passion for food and an eagerness to learn about cooking techniques and menu items.
