In this dynamic role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring tables are cleared promptly, assisting servers with food delivery, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately. Support the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing. Maintain effective communication with team members using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and service flow. Buss tables during peak hours to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Help uphold cleanliness standards in dining areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly. Provide friendly, attentive guest services by answering questions about menu items or restaurant policies. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices is highly valued. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Banquet or large event service experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to manage high-volume settings. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are crucial for collaborating effectively with team members and engaging guests. Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting food delivery and preparation tasks.
