Food Runner

Overview We are looking for someone who can work as both a food runner and busser from Monday to Thursday, from 5 PM to 10 PM. Responsibilities Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and ensuring a clean dining area for guests Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests Handle food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under the guidance of culinary staff Maintain a high level of guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and providing friendly assistance throughout their dining experience Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to uphold restaurant standards and ensure smooth service flow Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and basic food preparation techniques Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts Familiarity with bussing, food delivery, or banquet experience is a plus A background in hospitality or hotel service can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
