Job Overview We are seeking Students who have reliable transportation and energetic and dedicated servers to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring guests feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position offers a dynamic environment where your hospitality skills can shine and your passion for food and drinks can truly make an impact. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance as a host/hostess if needed. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food, beverages, cocktails, wine, and spirits with professionalism and enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting in food handling and preparation when necessary. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to elevate the dining experience. Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling beverages like spirits or wine to maximize revenue. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest service excellence; culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.
