Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and guest satisfaction Take and relay guest orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest needs are met swiftly Handle guest inquiries with clear communication and phone etiquette, providing helpful information about menu items or restaurant policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, waiting areas, and dining spaces Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation practices and restaurant protocols Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and positive energy Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail and organization Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality best practices Restaurant experience or hotel background is advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a lively, guest-focused setting This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating memorable guest experiences.
