In this role, the candidate is expected to be friendly, proactive and independent. Your hospitality and professionalism will ensure guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. Whether taking orders, recommending menu items, or managing guest relations, your positive attitude will help create memorable dining moments. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards. Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Skills Previous proven experience in food service or restaurant environments for a long duration. Familiarity with POS systems and delivery tablets. Strong sushi and teriyaki knowledge coupled with excellent food handling and sanitation skills. Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations. Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members alike.
