Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests by delivering exceptional service, assisting with menu selections, and ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately processed. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Square POS system. Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to all food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash register transactions efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items and service techniques. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during busy service periods. Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus. Experience with Square POS or similar systems is advantageous. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
