Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Busser/Food Runner to join our team. This position will be responsible for setting tables, clearing plates, moving dishes downstairs, washing glassware, polishing, vacuuming, sweeping and maintaining the dining room , as well as sometimes also delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers in a timely manner. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction. This is a part time position, 2-3 days per week, weekends and nights required, as our holidays. It could grow into a full time position. $19.18/hour + tips.

Duties:

• Setting tables
• Clearing Plates
• Pouring water
• Sorting and Polishing Silverware
• Vacuuming and Sweeping Floors, sometimes mopping floors
• Moving tables, re-arranging tables based on party size
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or requests promptly

Experience:

• Prior experience in a restaurant, food service, catering, or related industry is preferred
• Knowledge of busser duties and food handling procedures and basic kitchen operations
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, kitchen staff, and servers
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
