Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors and toppings, ensuring an enjoyable experience Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other treats following proper food handling and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing cash drawers at shift end Upsell additional products or upgrades to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning utensils, counters, and seating areas in accordance with food safety regulations Support food preparation tasks when needed and assist with bussing tables or cleaning to ensure a tidy environment Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage warmly with guests Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a café, retail store, or grocery store can be beneficial but is not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
