Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Toast Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling Assist with food preparation and pre server duties as needed to ensure smooth operations Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times Skills Extensive knowledge of POS system Toast. Proven experience in food service environments, especially in fine dining. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and genuinely Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for better menu understanding Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Experience with restaurant reservations platforms Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences!
