As a core member of the front-of-house, you will help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for every guest while supporting smooth operational flow during busy ramen service hours. You will greet guests, guide their dining experience, collaborate closely with the kitchen, and help maintain a clean, efficient, and positive environment. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming attitude Present menus, explain ramen options, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system Serve ramen and drinks efficiently while ensuring all items meet restaurant quality standards Check in with guests frequently and address any needs, concerns, or special requests Assist with bussing tables, resetting seats, and maintaining a clean dining area at all times Support smooth communication between FOH and BOH to ensure timely delivery of dishes Help manage waitlists and guest flow during peak hours Handle cash and credit card transactions according to restaurant procedures Uphold all food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout the shift Experience & Skills Experience in guest services or food service is preferred, but not required Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha experience is a plus) Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Basic math skills for handling cash and balancing tabs Hospitality background is beneficial, but we welcome fast learners with a positive attitude Benefits Employee discount Flexible scheduling Staff meals provided Opportunity to join an opening-team environment and grow with the brand Education High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Languages English (Required) Japanese (Conversational or Fluent preferred) Ability to communicate with our Japanese-speaking team and understand authentic ramen preparation terms.
