Server Pit Stop - (Part-Time) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 49500 Seminole Drive, Cabazon, CA 92230 Part-time Morongo Casino Resort & Spa 314 reviews Part-time The Server - Pit Stop is responsible for providing timely, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to all guests in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. This role ensures an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests, taking accurate orders, serving meals and beverages, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The Server upholds Morongo's "BEST of the Best" hospitality culture and adheres to AAA Four Diamond service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests promptly, introduces self, and provides menu guidance including beverage and appetizer recommendations. Maintains a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards. Takes accurate food and beverage orders, inputs them into the POS system efficiently, and ensures timely delivery. Delivers food and beverages using proper serving techniques, ensuring accuracy, quality, and presentation meet service standards. Conducts regular table check-backs to ensure guest satisfaction and addresses questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally. Presents, delivers, and retrieves guest checks; processes payments, applies discounts or comps, and returns accurate change. Coordinates with kitchen and support staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and in a timely manner. Busses, cleans, and resets tables efficiently to maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready dining area. Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstation and dining areas throughout each shift. Prepares and restocks service items such as condiments, utensils, napkins, coffee, and beverages to ensure continuous service readiness. Accurately signs in/out at the beginning and end of each shift and completes all required shift documentation. Participates in pre-shift meetings and completes assigned side work and cleaning duties. Adheres to all departmental cash handling, safety, health, and sanitation procedures. Provides courteous farewells and encourages return visits to enhance guest loyalty. Verifies guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and adheres to all ABC regulations, RBS training standards, and internal policies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to support department operations and guest satisfaction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance or support to other team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver friendly, timely, and accurate service in a high-volume setting. Knowledge of basic food and beverage service standards. High regard for guest service and professionalism in appearance and conduct. Ability to work collaboratively with team members in both front- and back-of-house roles. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained upon hire. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a server in a quick-service, café, or casual dining environment. Strong knowledge of food service standards, order taking, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Proven ability to provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service in a high-volume setting. Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain cleanliness and professionalism while working under pressure. Prior experience in a casino, resort, or 24-hour food venue is preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have successfully completed a background check and obtained a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency, as required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to read and interpret documents in English, such as instructions, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and guests.

Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift, often in a high-energy and time-sensitive setting.
Balance and Coordination:
Must maintain physical balance and stability while carrying full trays in crowded or tight spaces.
Visual Acuity:
Requires the ability to quickly and accurately read orders, tickets, and labels, and observe guest needs or safety concerns.
Working Conditions:
Regularly works in a busy food service and casino environment with exposure to high noise levels, kitchen heat, food odors, and a smoking environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires the ability to adapt and perform under pressure. The casino operates with moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment, requiring team members to work comfortably in these conditions.
WORKING HOURS
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; therefore, flexibility in scheduling is essential. Team members must be available to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may include overtime, as well as work on both weekdays and weekends.
