In this dynamic role, you'll combine your passion for food service with your knack for efficient cash handling to create memorable visits for every guest. Whether taking orders, serving delicious meals, or processing transactions swiftly and accurately, you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional hospitality. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back for more. Duties Greet guests warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Prepare and serve food items, including basic food preparation tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, giving correct change and managing cash register operations with integrity. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist in food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed and contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly.
