Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols. Support other restaurant operations such as bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively. Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations; serving or host/hostess experience is preferred.
