Black Swan Hospitality is building the opening team for By The Sea - our newest coastal venture opening this July. We're searching for hospitality-driven servers: the kind who move with confidence and grace, anticipate every detail, and create genuine connections while embracing the beautiful chaos of a restaurant opening. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Process sales transactions efficiently, handle cash and credit card payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards to recommend pairings and upsell effectively Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, and sales transaction processing Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
