Position Overview:

As a Server at AFURI, you play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering outstanding customer service, demonstrating a keen attention to detail, and promoting ramen and cocktail sales to enhance the overall dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression. Assist guests in navigating the menu, offering recommendations and answering any questions. Ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience through attentive and friendly service. Attention to

Detail:

Set up and maintain tables with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation. Pay close attention to guest preferences and dietary restrictions, communicating effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders. Monitor the pace of service to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

Cocktail and Beverage Sales:

Promote and recommend signature cocktails, sake, and other beverage options to guests. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the drink menu, including ingredients and pairings. Upsell and suggest add-ons to enhance the overall dining experience.

Order Accuracy and Communication:

Accurately input orders into the POS system, ensuring special requests and modifications are communicated clearly to the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to create a positive and efficient work environment. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth flow of service.

Upselling and Revenue Generation:

Actively promote seasonal specials, promotions, and loyalty programs to increase sales. Monitor and manage guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverages is a plus. Ability to handle high-stress situations and maintain a positive attitude. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
