The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of champagne and wine, with a can do sales attitude. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable tasting experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about facility and options. Take accurate drink orders, tasting menus. Serve beverages in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their time at Gather and Toast. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to policies regarding cash handling and POS systems. Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, contributing to the overall success of special occasions. Uphold food safety standards throughout all stages of food preparation and service. Answer questions of the Folsom Area and local events, happenings and activities - all Folsom has to offer. keep display shelves organized and appealing. help with vendor orders coming in and out - restocking supplies as needed. Experience Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in bartending or as a dietary aide is considered a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
