Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend items to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Support host/host duties as needed, managing guest flow effectively during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
