Server
  • Busy Franchise Izakaya in Glendale] We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Server to join our team at a busy franchise Izakaya located in Glendale Brand Blvd As part of a growing franchise, we are looking for someone who values consistency, teamwork, and operational standards while also being able to adapt and lead in a fast-paced environment.
Our restaurant is consistently busy, especially during dinner service where we often operate with a waitlist almost every night. Despite our small space, we maintain high volume and strong sales, making efficient execution and teamwork extremely important. This role is ideal for a responsible worker who can support both staff and operations while maintaining excellent guest service. Responsibilities
  • Manage floor operations with strong attention to detail and efficiency
  • Coordinate and guide a small team of 2-3 servers per shift
  • Ensure smooth table turnover while maintaining high service standards
  • Drive sales through effective upselling and guest engagement
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams
  • Maintain franchise service standards and operational consistency Ideal Candidate
  • Responsible, dependable, and able to lead as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience in upselling and contributing to sales growth
  • Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and ingredients preferred
  • Sake knowledge is a strong plus
  • Experience with Toast POS system preferred Shifts
  • Lunch:
    11:30 AM
  • 4:30 PM
  • Dinner:
    4:30 PM
  • Close Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly wage based on experience (to be discussed during interview)
