Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Chowbus system and toast system. Process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy at all times. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Manage reservations, coordinating seating arrangements for optimal flow Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Qualifications Proficiency with POS systems such as Chowbus POS, toast POS or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Experience with food industry operations including serving, bussing, food preparation, and host/hostess duties is highly desirable Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep when needed This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on delivering outstanding guest experiences while working in a lively hospitality atmosphere.
