Server/Cashier Red Wasabi Sushi Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders promptly. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments. Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Ability to take initiative during slow shifts and do listed side work or duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant is required . Sushi restaurant experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary basics. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Familiarity with Clover system is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Outgoing personality that can work well in a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding service and enhancing the customer experience. Looking for someone with open availability with working one weekend as a requirement (Friday - Sunday), but will most likely schedule on weeknights with some weekend night shifts (3PM-9:30PM)
