HIRING FOOD RUNNER AVAILABILITY
WEEKEND / NIGHT SHIFTS Want to be a part of a small one/two-person kitchen and make great food? Well, this is the kitchen for you! Come work behind the scenes of a Live Comedy Club! Ideal applicants work clean, fast, and efficiently. This is a fast paced, busy atmosphere. Must be focused, committed, detail oriented, and able to show up every weekend ready to cook. Seeking someone who has a positive attitude and work ethic, along with the ability to multitask and provide quality service when busy and under pressure. The Laugh Factory is in the position to revamp the kitchen and will be showcasing new menu selections soon. We are seeking a kitchen crew eager to help implement new plans.Duties:
- Deliver food orders to guests properly and in a timely manner to ensure a positive experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail, accuracy, and anticipation of guests needs
- Be a self-starter, very efficient, organized, clean, and a multi-task person
- Handle any conflicts in a composed and disciplined manner
- Prepare menu items in accordance with the established recipes
- Clean kitchen area on a nightly basis + throughout shift
- Maintain a clean work area in accordance with health codes.
- Take care of kitchen supplies and equipment
- Deliver food from upstairs to downstairs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in fast paced restaurant environment
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be friendly, punctual, and attentive
- Must be physically fit & able to go up and down stairs and stand for long periods (4-5 hours)
- California Food Handler Certification required
- Required to work nights/weekends/Holidays.
