August 2026 Overview 1880 Union Hotel is seeking Event Servers to join our event team for weddings and private events. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who are attentive, reliable, and comfortable supporting full event days in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Our events prioritize warm, thoughtful service over rushed or transactional interactions. Event Servers play a key role in ensuring each event runs smoothly from setup through breakdown. Responsibilities Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, place settings, and service stations Serve food and beverages during cocktail hour and dinner service Clear and reset tables throughout the event as needed Support bartenders and kitchen team during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas Assist with event breakdown and cleanup at the end of service Communicate clearly with event leads and team members to support smooth event flow Requirements Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred Comfortable working weddings and private events Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset Professional, polished demeanor with guests Ability to remain focused and energetic during 8-12 hour event shifts Ability to be on your feet for extended periods Availability for evenings and weekends Schedule & Compensation Event-based scheduling (primarily weekends) Shifts typically range 8-12 hours per event day Competitive hourly pay How to Apply Please email your resume and a brief introduction to: sara@1880union.com
