Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. The primary objective is to create a personalized experience for our guests that will make them want to return and recommend us to others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Welcome and connect with every customer. Discover customer needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy 2. Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, smile and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers 3. Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or hotel functions and services 4. Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system 5. Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders 6. Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment 7. Maintain a clean and organized work and service area 8. Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests 9. Prepare final bill, present check to the guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change if applicable 10. Responsible for following hotel cash handling procedures 11. Use the

Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify) 12. Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests 13. Teamwork - offer to help or ask for help from your team members as situations arise 14. Complete food safety and alcohol serve certification 15. Have the ability to hand carry a minimum of three plates. All servers will be sharing in the food running 16. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor 17. Notify Supervisor/Manager of any problems with cleaning or equipment 18. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner 19. Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures 20. Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements 21. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for department 22. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests 23. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor's or manager's office for logging and storage 24. Accommodate guest special requests courteously 25. Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services 26.
