Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees. Serve food and beverages efficiently during banquets, receptions, and events, maintaining high standards of presentation and service. Assist with setup, breakdown, and bussing of tables to ensure smooth event flow and cleanliness. Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, serving techniques, and adherence to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of meals and special dietary requests. Engage with guests to enhance their experience through attentive service and friendly communication. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly preferred, especially in banquet or catering settings. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest services and build positive guest relations. Familiarity with food handling safety standards and proper serving procedures. Experience working in restaurants or hotel environments is advantageous. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy events. A passion for delivering memorable guest experiences combined with a proactive attitude toward service excellence. Shifts are typically 7-10 hours. Most events at night with start times typically 2pm-5pm and end times 11pm-midnight. Some events during the day but more rare. Perfect part-time job for those with a weekday job or in school! Please note, while tips may be possible from time to time, this is NOT a tipped position.
