We are looking for team members who take pride in their work, support one another, and are eager to grow within the restaurant. Position Summary Oak + Violet is seeking a Server Assistant who is hardworking, proactive, and highly team oriented. This role is responsible for supporting the service team and maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the restaurant throughout the shift. The ideal candidate takes initiative, moves with urgency, and understands the importance of keeping the restaurant polished and fully prepared for service. If you are driven and hoping to work their way up to a Server position, this role could be for you! This position requires someone who is comfortable with physical work, including moving furniture, setting up and breaking down service areas, and assisting with event setups. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in hospitality. Ideal candidate my have open availability and must be available on holidays, Sunday's and begin your shifts at 1:00PM. Responsibilities

• Support Servers and Managers during service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, courtyard, service stations, and guest areas
• Reset and align tables, chairs, couches, and furniture according to restaurant standards
• Assist with moving furniture and adjusting floor plans for service and events
• Set up and maintain Server Assistant stations with water, ice, bottled water, silverware, and linens
• Refill water glasses and assist with clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables
• Sweep, mop, and keep floors clean throughout the shift
• Assist with banquet, private dining, and event setup and breakdown
• Ensure the restaurant remains clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times
• Complete opening and closing side work thoroughly
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Take initiative and proactively assist wherever needed Qualifications
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, push, and move furniture and service items as needed
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Dependable, punctual, and team oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow within the restaurant
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends (Saturday AND Sunday), holidays, and special events Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a busser, food runner, barback, or server assistant
• Experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or banquet environment
• Interest in growing into a Server role Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to move tables, chairs, and other restaurant furniture as needed What We Offer

Pay:
