Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing change. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Pack food carefully to ensure quality and presentation while managing food handling and sanitation protocols. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and packing stations by bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices. Assist in food prep tasks as needed to support kitchen operations in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while adhering to safety standards. Support the team with basic retail math for transactions and inventory checks when necessary. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within quick service or fast food settings. Familiarity with POS systems Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently. Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to serving diverse clientele. Experience working in a retail or grocery store setting involving food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards is advantageous. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
