This position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations. Duties Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately using POS system and process payments efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions with precision. Serve food and beverages at banquets or events, ensuring timely delivery and attentive customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including basic cooking support, plating, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Clear tables promptly, bus tables as required, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Support kitchen staff by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment swiftly while adhering to proper sanitation procedures. Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, following all safety protocols to prevent contamination and promote a safe food environment. Uphold excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, upselling menu items to increase sales, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Other duties as assigned. Skills Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to proficiently use a computer Proven ability in cash handling, basic math skills, and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in quick service or fast-food restaurant settings while maintaining attention to detail. Basic kitchen experience including food handling, sanitation practices, and serving techniques.
