Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or beverage pairings. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction. Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings smoothly and optimize seating efficiency. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including nights and weekends. Follow all sanitation protocols to maintain a clean dining environment in compliance with health regulations. Support other restaurant operations such as host/host duties or light kitchen assistance as required. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and quick calculations for orders or payments. Culinary experience or food industry background that supports understanding of food preparation and presentation standards. Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in fast-paced settings such as fine dining restaurants or nightclubs.
