BanquetEvents Server - The Cliffs HotelSpa The Cliffs HotelSpa is the premier oceanfront hotel on the Central Coast. Come to work every day to beautiful ocean views of Pismo Beach! The Event Team at The Cliffs HotelSpa is continuously growing and expanding! We are seeking a gracious, thoughtful, and motivated part-time BanquetEvents Server who can create a sense of luxury while executing guest events. We look forward to connecting with you!
Position Summary:
The BanquetEvents Server is to ensure guest satisfaction of all who attend banquet functions at the Cliffs Hotel and Spa. Going above and beyond, as needed, to create a unique experience for our guests. Essential Functions of the
Job:
To set-up, break-down, clean-up all event functions (Tables, Chairs, Linen, AV, Umbrellas, Etc.) ServeBus all Event FoodBeverage (Buffets, Plated Meals, Tray Passed Food, Etc.) To demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality in every aspect of service Learn to read BEO's and prioritize tasks Follow Cliffs Standards of Excellence Communicates pleasantly and courteously with guests, management and co-workers Adjust to changing needs and priorities Comply fully and consistently with all the hotel conditions of employment and standards
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/move continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours). Regular heavy lifting required (50 pounds or more). Ability to carry service trays. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in high stress situations. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or 50 lbs frequently and/or 20 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull objects
Education, Experience, Skills:
