Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks promptly. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials. Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register or POS system. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills. Process payments accurately, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order fulfillment. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of sales techniques to enhance the dining experience for guests is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
