Job Description
[About Us] Gangsan Korean Cuisine is a brand-new, modern Korean restaurant opening soon in Redwood City, CA. We are dedicated to serving high-quality traditional dishes, including Galbijjim and Seolleongtang, in a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for passionate and energetic team members to join us from the very beginning. [Responsibilities]
- Welcome and seat guests with a friendly attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
- Answer questions about our menu items, ingredients, and cultural background.
- Collaborate with BOH and FOH team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining environment. [Qualifications]
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred (experience in Korean or Asian dining is a plus, but not required).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid ServSafe Food Handler certificate. [Schedule]
