Ideally located across from the 40-acre California State Capitol Park, our newly redesigned hotel in downtown Sacramento offers a tranquil urban escape. Surrounded by restaurants, shopping and nightlife, it's a short walk from Capitol Mall, the Crocker Art Museum and the Old Sacramento Waterfront. Our guests get to relax by the resort-style pool, enjoy dinner by the outdoor fireplace or take in skyline views from their rooms. Restaurant servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give rmendations from ourpilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. This is a seasonal position beginning May 1, 2026 and ending September 15, 2026. This is an hourly position with apensation of $17.50 per hour. Hyatt is an equal opportunity employer. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbalmunication skills. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight. Ability to stand for long periods of time and outside in the pool area. Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
