About the role

• Event Server (On Call) Event servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions.

They make sure function space visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Wage Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $17.75/hr. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay. All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States. This Position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas. Resumes submitted that cannot fulfill these requirements will not be considered. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight. Should be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per shift Prior hotel banquet experience preferred. Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
