The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff. Duties Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling techniques at all times. Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks when required. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in culinary arts or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
