Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant food service team. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that enhances our guests' dining experience by delivering exceptional customer service, expertly managing orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your role is vital in ensuring guests feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable dining experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to food safety protocols Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, food handling, and proper serving techniques Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial for team collaboration and guest flow management Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and fellow team members effectively Join our team if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
