About Noir:
Noir Sushi & Sake Fusion Lounge is an upscale Japanese dining concept in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Focused on traditional sushi artistry and curated sake offerings, Noir delivers a refined, modern culinary experience. We are building a team of hospitality professionals who are passionate about excellence in both service and presentation.
Role Overview:
We are looking for professional, detail-oriented Servers to provide exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, high-standard restaurant environment. You'll be responsible for guiding guests through the menu and ensuring every table receives seamless, respectful, and attentive service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive and informed service to guests from start to finish Clearly communicate daily features, menu items, and sake offerings Accurately take orders and input into POS using mobile devices (Toast POS) Coordinate with kitchen and sushi bar to ensure timely delivery Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and assigned sections Follow opening/closing duties and adhere to restaurant cleanliness standards Work collaboratively with front and back-of-house team members
Requirements:
3+ year of experience as a server in a fast-paced, upscale Japanese-focused restaurant Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and/or sake a plus (training provided) Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure Positive attitude and polished presence Punctual and dependable Current Food Handler certification required (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Preferred Qualities:
Comfortable with high-end service standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain composed in a dynamic, service-driven environment
