We pride ourselves on offering a curated wine list, warm hospitality, and a chic setting perfect for casual sipping or special occasions. We are seeking a Wine Server to join our dedicated team for ~24 hours/week (availability Tuesday through Sunday) with opportunities for more hours.
Compensation as follows:
$17 /hr + tips (without Court of Master Sommelier certification) $21 /hr + tips with CMS Level 1/Intro $25 /hr + tips with CMS Level 2/Certified Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor, and introduce yourself by name. Provide detailed information about menu items, walking guests through our flights, glass, and bottle options with confidence. Suggest, present, and pour wines according to CMS service standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the experience and maximize sales opportunities, such as bottles instead of glasses, caviar and charcuterie pairings, and large format offerings. Serve food and drink in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including tables and outdoor spaces. Carry out opening, closing, and event duties as needed. Requirements Solid foundation of wine and champagne styles is a must. Previous experience in wine sales/service or in fine dining establishments is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, as our small space can become full and bustling at any moment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Sabre's hours and schedule. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
