Job Description

Overview:
As a Brunch Server, you'll be a key player in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You'll provide exceptional hospitality, manage food and beverage service, and ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for. Daily training and tastings will enhance your knowledge of our offerings, allowing you to expertly guide and inform our guests.
Responsibilities:
Hospitality:
Deliver outstanding service with a gracious and welcoming demeanor.
Guest Engagement:
Attend to guests promptly upon arrival and throughout their dining experience.
Menu Knowledge:
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Allergy Awareness:
Understand and address food allergies or dietary restrictions, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
Service:
Take and accurately document orders, serve food and drinks, and make recommendations for menu items and additions.
Table Management:
Arrange and reset tables, manage table settings, and ensure a clean and organized dining area.
Order Accuracy:
Place orders with the kitchen staff and ensure they are executed correctly.
Restaurant Upkeep:
Perform opening and closing side work duties, including maintaining and cleaning restaurant areas.
Payment Processing:
Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently.
Health Regulations:
Adhere to health department regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with OpenTable, Toast, or similar POS systems. Valid Food Handlers Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification. Solid understanding of full-service restaurant operations and terminology. Strong professional communication skills and a commitment to high grooming and dress code standards.
Hours:
Part-Time:
Availability for morning shifts on weekends and holidays. Sunday brunch is required.
Weekly Hours:
16-20 hours per week.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40+ lbs. and navigate stairs to the mezzanine floor. Why Join Us?
