Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing Present menu options confidently, upselling specialty items and promoting daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve sushi and other Japanese cuisine with precision, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are maintained Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or sushi establishments Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with food industry terminology, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations such as food preparation and sanitation protocols Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest services, guest relations, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and nightclub or bar service experience is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality meets the art of Japanese cuisine!
