Job Description

San Luis Obispo Country Club is a private country club nestled in the beautiful Edna Valley among hills and vineyards in San Luis Obispo, California. Honored with the Distinguished Club Award as well as America's Healthiest Club award, we opened in 1957 with just a golf course. We are now the preeminent recreational and social club for the entire family. We offer exceptional dining and socializing in our beautiful Mediterranean Clubhouse which can accommodate an intimate dinner for 10 to a party of 220 people.

REPORTS TO
Banquet & Events Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED
Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness Adhere to grooming and appearance standards EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous waitress, waiter, bartender or banquet server experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to follow policies and procedures. Ability to work unsupervised, must be focus and detailed. Excellent oral communication and listening skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time. Excellent customer service skills Ability to operate a POS (Point of Sale system), fax, copier, computer/printer, and telephone.
