Server, Part-Time, The Villages of SLO - Dining Services

The Villages of San Luis Obispo is looking for a kind and energetic server to join our team and provide dining room service to our residents at our Garden Creek location. We are a premier living community for retired seniors that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of life to our residents. We were voted Best Retirement Home in the 2023, 2024, and 2025 New Times "Best of SLO" reader's polls, and we are located less than a mile from the Cal Poly campus!

This position requires:

Availability for shifts from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, three-to-four shifts per week. Weekend availability is needed. Some earlier shifts from 7:00am to 3:00pm may also be available. Temporary employment for just the summer may also be available. Perfect job for students or anyone looking for extra earnings in a low-stress environment. Experience is not required. We will train individuals with positive learning attitudes. Applicants must be 18 or over to be eligible, and be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities include:

As a server: Serve meals in a professional, efficient and courteous manner Deliver tray meals to residents in their apartments Prepare dining room before and after each meal by performing necessary cleaning and stocking Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment at all times Work in a beautiful setting with a great staff!
