What You'll Do Welcome every guest with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality. Deliver an exceptional dining experience that keeps guests coming back. Accurately take food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system. Confidently explain menu items, daily specials, traditional Nicaraguan dishes, desserts, and beverages. Recommend menu items and increase sales through professional upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages quickly while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Ensure every order is correct and delivered promptly. Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately. Maintain clean, organized dining areas throughout every shift. Assist with bussing, resetting tables, side work, and opening/closing duties. Work closely with kitchen and management to provide seamless service. Follow all California food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Help maintain the high standards and reputation that make Delicias Nicaragüenses one of the top restaurants in the Bay Area. QualificationsRequired Previous experience as a restaurant server. Experience with Toast POS (strongly preferred). Fluent in both English and Spanish (highly preferred). Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong sales and upselling abilities. Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining exceptional service. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Team-oriented with a willingness to support coworkers. Comfortable handling cash and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
