As the face of our dining room, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, guiding diners through our menu of fresh offerings, and ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced service environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems with Clover POS ensuring all special requests are noted Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, ensuring a seamless dining experience Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions about menu items, accommodating special needs, and fostering positive guest relations Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or cleaning service stations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

At least 1 year in the restaurant food industry (Japanese Cuisine a bonus!) Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the hospitality industry Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; hospitality background highly valued Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Dress code of a black dress pants, black dress shoes, solid black dress shirt Food Handlers Certificate and RBS certificate

$16.90 - $20.00 per hour
