SCOPE AND PURPOSE
The Server Assistant plays an integral role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by supporting the restaurant service team with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. This position ensures dining areas are impeccably maintained, assists with food and beverage service, anticipates guest needs, and contributes to the seamless execution of luxury service standards throughout each meal period. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to creating memorable guest experiences through teamwork and operational excellence.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Dining Room & Service Support Prepare and maintain dining room mise en place, service stations, and table settings in accordance with hotel standards. Clean, clean, reset, and maintain tables throughout service while ensuring exceptional presentation and cleanliness. Assist Servers with delivering food and beverages, pre-bussing tables, water service, bread service, and guest requests. Support opening, closing, and side work assignments while maintaining organization throughout each shift. Guest Experience Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt, courteous assistance while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor. Ensure guests receive timely service by supporting efficient communication between the dining room and culinary teams. Address routine guest requests and promptly notify management or Servers of any service concerns requiring additional attention. Maintain luxury hospitality standards by demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Operational Excellence Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service equipment, storage areas, and back-of-house workspaces. Follow all food safety, sanitation, allergy awareness, and responsible service standards. Properly clean, polish, store, and maintain glassware, flatware, china, and service equipment. Assist with banquet functions, private events, and special dining experiences as business demands require. Teamwork & Professionalism Collaborate effectively with restaurant leadership, culinary, stewarding, and fellow Food & Beverage team members. Follow all Hotel safety policies, emergency procedures, uniform standards, and grooming expectations. Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, or guest incidents promptly. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental operations and guest satisfaction
