Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This full time Club staff member will be responsible for giving the proper service & guest satisfaction in the levels of the quality standards of the operation according to the standards of the Property. Set up and clean up of events as well as take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables, courteously and efficiently. Collect payments. Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Maintain Club service standards. We have both full and part time positions available, that require evening and weekend shifts, based on event schedules. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds as moving tables, chairs and other items is often necessary. Duties Include, but are not limited to:
  • Taking orders on Point Of sales and completing sales
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Greeting patrons once they are seated
  • Presenting menus to customers
  • Explaining menu items to customers
  • Answering questions from patrons about food and beverages
  • Sharing information with customers about the status of their orders
  • Refilling customer drink orders throughout the meal
  • Finding out if customers need additional items Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each course and resets them with appropriate silverware.
  • Verifying that customers are satisfied with their orders Clears cleans and resets tables that have been vacated. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
  • Set Up/Breakdown of events
  • Following all relevant health department rules and regulations
  • Observing the principles of safe food handling and service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Team Player Enjoy working with people Warm, friendly personality Excellent communication skills (read, write, speak, and understand English) Knowledge of Cuisine (Menu) Basic knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques Must have a flexible schedule which requires (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
