Event Servers Location:
Santa Clara, CA 65054 We are seeking experienced event servers to join our event-based staffing team. This is a flexible, gig-style opportunity ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy working a variety of events, venues, and client environments.
Position Overview:
Event-based, on-call serving role Shifts are posted by our staffing team; available team members may claim shifts on a first-come, first-served basis Work locations vary throughout the Santa Clara/San Jose region Weekly pay via direct deposit (Fridays)
Open Shift:
Friday, July 17 (AM Shifts) - Must be available to work this day to apply Please note: This role does not include training. Applicants must have prior professional serving experience.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of professional serving experience Ability to perform a variety of service styles, including buffet, plated, tray-passed, and cocktail service Must be 18 years or older to apply Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various event locations Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-focused attitude California Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain prior to working an event) Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if serving alcohol (or ability to obtain)
Physical Demands:
This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours. Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
Uniform Requirements:
Black button-down dress shirt (Uniform must be provided by the employee). Black slacks (no jeans, no leggings, and no ripped or faded pants). Black non-slip shoes with black socks. If you're an experienced server looking for flexible, event-based work with weekly pay, we'd love to have you!
