Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Process Server and become a vital link in the legal and administrative process. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering legal documents accurately and efficiently, ensuring that service of process is completed in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help facilitate smooth legal proceedings, providing essential support to attorneys, courts, and clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your courier skills while contributing to the integrity of legal processes. Responsibilities Deliver legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, complaints, and other court papers to individuals or organizations promptly and professionally Verify recipient identities and obtain signatures to confirm successful service Maintain detailed records of all deliveries, including dates, times, locations, and recipient information Follow specific legal protocols and jurisdictional requirements for serving documents Communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals regarding delivery status or issues encountered during service Manage filing of completed service reports and related documentation accurately and timely Use courier tools and technology to navigate routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries Experience Prior experience as a courier or in a delivery role is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries daily while maintaining accuracy Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with recipients and team members Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to legal procedures for document service Basic familiarity with filing systems for maintaining accurate records of completed services Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation is essential Embark on a rewarding career path where your proactive attitude makes a real difference!
